Why i choose blogging over facebook and forum?
Firstly there are 2 kinds of information i need to deal with.

Time-related: mean time plays a crucial portion in this type of information. no one likes to arrive at a part when it is already over.
Facebook is very good in this forum of information is everything is in real time and you can even send out invitations to friends who are in the same group. however, facebook only allow 1 pinned post which restricts the amount of knowledge you can hold. recently they released this doc function, but i cant really get it to work for me.
WhatsApp is good with this form of data and gives alot of privacy too. alot of AFOL have broken off into thier own groups. this will keep the information fresh and up to date. however, the maximum size of this is 100 members.

Knowledge-related: Historical data, Skill sharing etc. Forums are the usual form of storage for this. however, the way the forum works is that its an inverted tree. when various members camp in only thier own branches, interaction is a minimal. you can have the same person asking the same question in multiple areas just to get some answers.

Blogging manages my knowledge-related data via the use of labels. by managing the labels, i will be able to help someone get to a pool of related information.
Blogger app allows me to post using my mobile easily and link it to my facebook.

Here is how i will arrrange my blog.
All data will be arranged via labels.
If it is time-related data, a date will be appended to it - yyyymmdd.

Beginner labels: information that will be good to help if you just took on this hobby
Shop labels: will try to have all promo listed on time and all locations updated.
Skill labels: information on building techniques
Person labels: information on ppl. why? cos LEGO cant play itself. Toy story is a movie!
Misc label: Anything that dont belong into a fixed category. Makes my random rants easier to find.
